REFUGE WORKERS (FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME)
ADAPT DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES is a voluntary organization which was
established in **Apply on the website**. The Mission of ADAPT is to
offer support and safety to women and their children affected by
domestic abuse. The service is committed to challenging domestic abuse
by strengthening the capacity of individuals, communities and
organisations to respond effectively and to change society so that
domestic abuse is no longer tolerated.
We are looking to employ highly motivated and committed individuals to
work as part of the Refuge team. Using a trauma-informed approach the
Refuge Worker will provide practical and emotional support to women
survivors and their children and support their efforts to enhance the
safety and quality of life for themselves and their children.
SALARY: In line with public service salaries
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Initial two year contract which may be extended
after that period.
The FULL-TIME POST is based on a **Apply on the website** hour week.
The hours of work will be primarily day-time hours but will also
include evening, night and weekend work.
The PART-TIME POSTS will be primarily evenings/nights and weekends but
may include day-time work.
